UFO Disclosure By Nation

.                                         .                                       .

Global Disclosure of the UFO phenomenon is imminent!
Disclosure is the act of making something known, the act of disclosing something, reveal (such as information).

In 1998, Spain became the first nation in Europe to open its classified UFO files to researchers (1)(2). In March 2007, France began to declassify and disclose their reported UFO-files (1). A few months later England started too (2)(3), and then came Ecuador shortly after in May 2008 (1). Now other nations are following in their footsteps. Some nations have also officially established research committees on the phenomenon (1). It is unfortunate and deliberate that this type of news rarely attract any attention from the main stream media.

The list below will show how nations around the world have started the process of informing, and/or disclosing information regarding UFOs. This new development will eventually and inevitably result in a total global disclosure. The truth is still out there!

Click on each country below to see the nations movement towards a global Disclosure.

The National Archives holds a number of records relating to unidentified flying objects (UFOs), flying saucers and other unidentified aerial sightings. Most of these records date from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, when public interest in UFOs was high and many sightings were reported to Commonwealth authorities.

Here is a selection of records in the Archives’ collection that relate to UFOs. To find further records of interest, you can search the collection.

Committee of Studies of Anomalous Aerial Phenomenon (CEFAA), is the Chilean government’s official organization for the study of unknown aerial phenomena. CEFAA is a committee within the department of civil aeronautics (DGAC), Chile’s equivalent to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.

UFO videos were released this week (May 2015) from the Chilean government, and an enhanced version of the best part of the videos was provided exclusively to journalist Leslie Kean. She posted the video in a recent blog for The Huffington Post, where she outlined the details of the case and the investigation.

The videos were captured at the Academia de Guerra Aérea (AGA), or Air Force War Academy, in Santiago, Chile in 2012. After years of careful analysis, a scientific board has declared the UFO event an “anomalous luminous phenomenon” of unknown origin.

From Examiner.com

China were left stunned in August 2010 when Professor Wang Sichao, of the Purple Mountain Astronomical Observatory went public and admitted that UFO’s are real, that the observatory has observed ET craft on numerous occasions and that aliens are visiting Earth. The information was released in an official speech entitled ‘China’s UFO Truth’. The information was widely reported in the Chinese press though, not surprisingly, not so much in other countries. Wang Sichao made several key points stating that the aliens seem to be on research and development expeditions, the UFO’s appear to be probes manned by robots/androids, the UFO’s can travel at 80% the speed of light, they have been observed between 150 to 1500km above Earth, the UFO’s possibly use nuclear fusion propulsion and Wang also believes that the alien craft use Earth’s gravity to manoeuvre and stay aloft (1).

The top secret UFO files compiled by Denmark’s Air Force over the past 30 years have finally been declassified and opened to public perusal. Some 15,000 reported UFO sightings are detailed in the files, offering plenty for UFO buffs to drool over.

Danish Air Force Captain Thomas Petersen is an expert on the UFO files, and told the Copenhagen Post that the Air Force’s primary concern is defending Denmark against outside threats. “UFOs are not a known threat,” Peterson teasingly commented.

Ecuador (2)

Out of all the government documents declassified so far, Ecuador have proven to be both the most open and the most fascinating. In 2008 Ecuador declassified 44 official reports from government and military officials. In a video interview Captain Wilson Salgado stated that UFO’s do exist and are of extraterrestrial origin.

Jaime Rodriguez spent 22 years to convince the military that the UFO presence should become official public knowledge. With the support of the media an Ecuadorian government group was set up in order to gather intelligence data on the UFO phenomena which was considered to be potentially vital to humanity. In April 2005 CEIFO (the Ecuadorian committee for the study of the UFO phenomena) was formed.

England (2)(3)

From nickpope.net

The British Government is in the process of declassifying and releasing its entire archive of UFO files. Nick Pope worked on these files, wrote many of the documents in them, and – through his hundreds of media interviews – has been the public face of the release process. The following Q&A with Nick Pope is drawn from previous interviews. It gives an overview of the release of the files and is also designed to be a quotable resource for journalists covering the story (see especially the quotes at the end).

How much material has been released?

209 files and around 52,000 pages of documentation have been released so far. This is in addition to a number of UFO files that had already been released under the old Public Record Act, the best-known provision of which was the so-called 30-year rule, which said files could be considered for public release 30 years after the date of the most recent document contained in them.

Why were these files released?

How exactly did the release take place?

France (2)(3)(4)

From newscientist.com

France became one of the first countries to open its files on UFOs on Thursday 22. 2007, when the national space agency unveiled a website documenting more than 1600 sightings spanning five decades.

Of the 1600 cases registered since 1954, nearly 25% are classified as “type D”, meaning that “despite good or very good data and credible witnesses, we are confronted with something we can’t explain”, Patenet says.

The online archives, which will be updated as new cases are reported, catalogues in minute detail cases ranging from the easily dismissed to a handful that continue to perplex even hard-nosed scientists.

“It is a world first,” says Jacques Patenet, the aeronautical engineer who heads the office for the study of “non-identified aerospatial phenomena.”

Known as OVNIs in French, UFOs have always generated intense interest along with countless conspiracy theories about secretive government cover-ups of findings deemed too sensitive or alarming for public consumption.

“Cases such as the lady who reported seeing an object that looked like a flying roll of toilet paper” are clearly not worth investigating, says Patenet.

“But many others involving multiple sightings – in at least one case involving thousands of people across France – and evidence such as burn marks and radar trackings showing flight patterns or accelerations that defy the laws of physics are taken very seriously.”

“We do not have the least proof that extra-terrestrials are behind the unexplained phenomena,” says Patenet, adding: “Nor do we have the least proof that they aren’t.”

The online database should help scientists interested in studying the mysterious observations, he told New Scientist: “We also want to send a message to more scientists, inviting them to help us analyse these phenomena, when otherwise they might feel uneasy about these issues.”

The CNES fields between 50 and 100 UFO reports ever year, usually written up by police. Of these, 10% are the object of on-site investigations, Patenet says.

Other countries, notably Britain and the US, collect data more or less systematically about unidentified flying objects. In the US, information can be requested on a case-by-case basis under the Freedom of Information Act.

“But we decided to do it the other way around and made everything available to the public,” Patenet says.

The aim was to make it easier for scientists and other UFO buffs to access the data for research. The website itself – which crashed host servers hours after it was unveiled due to heavy traffic – is extremely well organised and complete, even including scanned copies of police reports.

COMETA was a high-level French UFO study organisation from the late 1990s, composed of high-ranking officers and officials, some having held command posts in the armed forces and aerospace industry. The name “COMETA” in English stands for “Committee for in-depth studies.” The study was carried out over several years by an independent group of mostly former “auditors” at the Institute of Advanced Studies for National Defence, or IHEDN, a high-level French military think-tank, and by various other experts.

.

In 1999 an important document was published in France entitled,“UFOs and Defense: What must we be prepared for?” (2)(3)(4). This ninety-page report is the result of an in-depth study of UFOs, covering many aspects of the subject, especially questions of national defense.

The group was responsible for the ‘COMETA Report’ (1999) on UFOs and their possible implications for defence in France. The report concluded that about 5% of the UFO cases they studied were utterly inexplicable and the best hypothesis to explain them was the extraterrestrial hypothesis (ETH). The authors also accused the United States government of engaging in a massive cover-up of the evidence.

Centuries’ Old French UFO Coin Remains Mystery

An unidentified flying object on a 17th century French coin continues to mystify rare coin experts. “It was made in the 1680s in France and the design on one side certainly looks like it could be a flying saucer in the clouds over the countryside,” said Kenneth E. Bressett of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a former President of the 32,000-member American Numismatic Association and owner of the curious coin.

“The legend written in Latin around the rim is also mystifying. ‘OPPORTUNUS ADEST’ translates as ‘It is here at an opportune time.’ Is the object in the sky symbolic of needed rainfall, or a Biblical reference or visitors from beyond? We probably will never know for certain,” said Bressett.

The reports, dating from 1954 to 2009, were released under freedom of information laws after the New Zealand Defence Force removed names and other identifying material.

In about 2,000 pages of documents, members of the public, military personnel and commercial pilots outline close encounters, mostly involving moving lights in the sky. Some of the accounts include drawings of flying saucers, descriptions of aliens wearing “pharaoh masks” and alleged examples of extraterrestrial writing.

Uruguay

From rense.com

The UFO phenomenon has manifested itself many times in Uruguay. Thirty years after research began, 40 cases remain unexplained. The files were declassified and EL PAIS was allowed access to them.

The Uruguayan Air Force will not publish a “Blue Book” containing the results of its 30 years of research, but the high command allowed EL PAIS access to records and eyewitness accounts.

While the Air Force commission that studies these cases has been operating for only a few decades, the UFO phenomenon began in Uruguay in 1947, at the same time that worldwide enthusiasm for the subject commenced. While Uruguay is no Roswell, the emblematic location for the subject of ETs, it is a place that is catalogued as propitious for seeing unidentified flying objects, according to Col. Ariel Sanchez, an Air Force officer with 33 years of active service and who has formed part of the UFO commission since 1989. He currently presides over it. Read more.

On October 21, 2004, the NSA approved for release to the public a portion of their NSA Journal Vol. XIV No. 1.  So why would this report be relevant or meaningful in April 2011.
